About Urban Catalyst

Urban Catalyst is a San Jose-based real estate development and investment sponsor focused on private equity real estate and Opportunity Zone development in downtown San Jose. The firm acts as both fund manager and developer, with projects across multifamily, hospitality, office, retail, and student housing real estate.

Fund I closed in 2020 with more than $131 million raised. Fund II closed at the end of 2025. Urban Catalyst does not have an open Opportunity Zone fund in 2026 and is monitoring the Opportunity Zones 2.0 framework for a potential 2027 fund.
